Your apps work best with the full picture.

Your directory holds rich, structured data about every employee. Native SCIM integrations typically only sync a handful of basic fields — leaving the rest out of date.

Custom attribute mapping, built for your apps

We configure a precise attribute map between your directory schema and each app's data model — so every field lands in exactly the right place.

Any attribute your app's API exposes
If the field exists in your app's user management API, we can sync it. Department, cost centre, manager, job code, custom fields — we map them all.
Field name translation
Your directory might call it "department"; the app might expect "dept_code". We handle the translation so your attributes land in exactly the right place.
Real-time propagation on every change
Every SCIM update event from your IdP carries the full attribute payload. Changes flow through to your app the moment they happen — no batch jobs, no delays.
Validated and tested before go-live
We test every attribute mapping end-to-end before handing the integration to you — verifying that each field arrives in the right format and location.

Frequently asked questions

Which attributes can be synced?
Any attribute your app's user management API exposes — standard fields like department, job title, manager, and phone number, as well as non-standard and custom fields specific to your app. We confirm which fields are available during onboarding.
What if my app uses different field names from my directory?
That's exactly what we're built for. SCIM.ninja translates attribute names between your directory schema and your app's API — so "department" in Okta can map to "dept_code" in your app, or "manager" can map to "reports_to_user_id".
Can I map user roles, groups, or permissions against security groups in my source directory?
Coming soon. Register for updates on Group Provisioning to be the first to find out.
How quickly do attribute changes propagate?
Attribute updates are processed as soon as your IdP requests an update.
Can the attribute mapping be updated after go-live?
Yes. If your directory schema changes, your app adds new fields, or your business requirements evolve, just reach out and we'll update your attribute mapping. Configuration changes are covered under your existing connection plan.
